That's why I'm out. I'm literally going into woodworking and going to have a cool website. Everything is a subscription and any client hates to leave the system they currently have, even though it lost their data and customers and upped their charges.

Working in a Corp is even worse. "Don't use regex, we have a 50mb library that does that for you in only 15 lines of code." Nevermind mine was 1 line.

I doubt he'll sign it. It doesn't mean he won't let it become law, but our governor is an absolute idiot. He passed a less strict leash law that got rid of any requirements for having control of your dog, just for having a leash on your dog. The worst part is, the law literally has no limit on the length of the leash. Nor any restrictions on how the dog is acting.

You could literally have a rabid dog, and as long as he's on a leash, he would actually be this side of legal.

I'm christian. Therefore all of those wishes are passed through the lens of God's word. If it doesn't hold up then it is nothing more than worldly peer pressure.

Also, honoring them doesn't mean slavery. It means love and aid. Sometimes love is letting someone experience consequences. We are dealing with this through my Grandma. She wasted her money "helping" useless organizations. Now she's in a home and has no money. It isn't our job to go bankrupt for her to squander it all over.

I run mine via docker and it keeps things easy. As long as it runs docker, you should be able to spin up an instance and just point to the folders with the files.

Jellyfin does add stuff to the folder, poster images and the like. It may be good to make a test media folder and test with that first.
