fu (fu@libranet.de)'s status on Tuesday, 23-Jan-2024 01:29:23 JST fu @thatguyoverthere the fed's role in the expansion of the money supply certainly has a large impact. But the world economy is a rotating means of supply and demand. Pointing all the blame to any one group is overly simplified. -
fu (fu@libranet.de)'s status on Tuesday, 09-Jan-2024 08:30:04 JST fu I just saw that 1BTC is currently exchnaging for > $46,000. I'm so mad thay I told my wife that we were too late to invest in Bitcoin because "it is already $100 for a bitcoin" -

fu (fu@libranet.de)'s status on Friday, 08-Dec-2023 09:15:42 JST fu The worst class I ever took in college was "The Native American Experience" it should have just been called "White People Suck" as that was pretty much the answer to every question. Half of the Hockey Team was in the class so those guys really liked to F with the instructor. -
fu (fu@libranet.de)'s status on Friday, 08-Dec-2023 07:49:34 JST fu @thatguyoverthere @usluck great, just what we need, another excuse for stores to require me give them an email address so I can get a digital receipt rather than something physical. -
fu (fu@libranet.de)'s status on Friday, 10-Nov-2023 06:59:47 JST fu In your reply to @robin1 and I you indicated that you prefer the CSB for regular scripture readings @thatguyoverthere. By the CSB are you referring to the Catholic Standard Bible? I had never even heard of the CSB until I went to our local Catholic bookstore looking for a good leather-bound copy of the Doauy-Rheims (D-R) to compliment my electronic Catholic Public Domain Version (CPDV). Surprisingly I found almost exclusively this new CSB with only limited copies of the New American Bible (NAB) & New American Bible with Revised Psalms(NABRE). I found this particularly surprising as in my country only the NABRE is authorized for use within liturgical settings in English so most believers I know prefer to reference the same version for home study. -

fu (fu@libranet.de)'s status on Wednesday, 08-Nov-2023 22:03:04 JST fu I knew where I grew up the NIV was by far the most popular, though personally I preferred the KJV, primarily because when you quoted Bible Verses from the KJV everyone knows you where quoting the Bible. I know I am different Christian circles now than I was 30 years ago, but it doesn't seem like anyone references the NIV anymore. @robin1 do you know if it is still the most popular English translation? -
fu (fu@libranet.de)'s status on Thursday, 19-Oct-2023 07:13:49 JST fu @ahuka @Fu @thatguyoverthere LOL! So, you live in some kind of country where individuals' claim to rights of personal real property are subservient to the government rights to property you claim to own? Sounds like some kind of collectivist nonsense Communist hellhole where I need to get my neighbor's approval before I can have my friend come for dinner. -
