One such example would be child support.
When parents are divorsed, traditionally the father has to pay for child support until the child becomes an adult.
In the west now that women are making money, now they decided that the mother needs to pay for child support, so now the man's problem is a woman's problem.
And from what I understood, they're now abolishing child support all of the sudden.

I also recommend Pale Moon for an independent browser (fork of the old Furryfox before it became Rust), or Netsurf for an entirely independent browser made from scratch, but it has no extensions. -

900 KiB (= 921.6 kB) for a webpage is problematic, yes.
But 900 KiB for a GIF is actually still pretty small, as it's pretty easy to make them weight 15 MiB on a 4 second long animation.
Then again, depends on what you use to make that animation, this (http://ryocafe.i2p/static/klee-bomb.gif) (requires I2P to view, otherwise replace "ryocafe.i2p" with asc7ewkcvat2wsoi5yuwkej5ukyrqqnpnzpj4u34r2jxnoxhnbx6yqad.onion for Tor) for example is only 378 KiB (= 387 kB). -

Now that you mention age, this starts making more sense now.
Age discrimination is real, especially towards foreigners because unlike Japanese citizens, foreigners can just flee unexpectedly and foreign courts will not rule in the landlord's favor while national courts will be like "he has no residence in Japan and no Japanese nationality, so we can't take your case sir".
Whether him being single or married has nothing to do with it really.
Otherwise you'd be denying the fact there's an abundance of single men renting apartments and mansions without any problem whatsoever nationwide. -

I've heard lots of horror stories from people looking for a place to live, but unless he was explicitely looking for a women-only room (and therefore he then creates his own problem), it really sounds rather retarded.
And so far, the only people complaining being declined by landlords are either the gaijin who flat out refuse to learn Japanese even though they already live in the country for decades, or pet owners who refuse to keep the fact they have a pet secret, or people with a criminal record.
But never just because of him having not the right genetilia between his legs and them being afraid of just suddenly dying in his own room because of that. -

I made the argument on IRC the other day (or was it here? I'm too boomer to remember) about how how those who complain about a 900 KiB GIF file because "think of the mobile users and their crappy data limits" would happily insert a 14 MiB MP4 file that's on autoplay, has no controls (so you can't stop it), and without audio into their already way too bloated "mobile friendly" websoyte filled with ads, trackers, and other unnecessary JS/CSS cruft.
