Japan and Europe feel like they have the same level of POZ that America had in the 1980s. Men generally had *some* level of confidence, women still had *some* grace and there was genuine trust shown in the public square (if someone drops their groceries on a streetcorner everyone stops to help them). It's bittersweet to see the beautiful content the japs make knowing that that culture isn't going to last
