   Just a few times I’d love to see someone THIS into ‘fixing’ the minutiae of their life and the way it interacts with their faith, and see a lifelong, unchanging relationship between the two.

   Guys who get super into this level of nitpicking never end up sticking with it, all my life I’ve seen them burn hot, get REALLY into being a fundamentalist in spirit (for whatever subset of Christianity they follow) and then fall away because it was just too difficult to maintain forever.

   In the end they become the ones lecturing you to lead you further astray, because “oh well I did that and I’m way happier ignoring all those commandments” because they write off the large and the small as if they’re the same thing.

   But orthodoxy isn’t my scene, so IDK how their people feel about this approach. I’d just like to see someone hold the line like this so I don’t always assume I’m seeing an apostate in the making.

     I’ve heard stuff like this before, because they rightfully see problems with the way some of the retards are approaching sex in their marriages. There’s a horrifying streak where young boys learn everything ONLY from internet pornography, and never hear about sex in a healthy, eugenic, loving manner. The censorship is supposed to help them avoid the temptation, but unbeknownst to their families they’ve already fallen.

     This is why you’ll have naive young trad girls blushing in discomfort because their man expects the same Brazzers combo he’s been watching for 20 of his 26 years of life: Oral-vaginal-anal-facial as a way to ring in their wedding night.

     I could see how someone starts freaking out about “reigning in the passions” even inside a marriage, because people are going way too carnal and hedonistic even with their God-given wives. It’s a problem, but….not really one you solve with crap like “okay don’t ever be horny together, procreative sex only”

     I assumed it was from their names. Like it's some self aware joke at e-trads. I know some couples abstain from marital relations during fasting. Both partners have to be in agreement with that and it's a serious thing. But to the core question of whether spooning is for arousal- I guess when it's been a while or you're young and inexperienced with everything.

     And I don't think that's even a bad thing. Like what are you supposed to do if you're 26 years old and trying to wait for marriage? "Sorry, leave a space for Jesus!" Is sort of true but also makes you seem pretty gay, in the literal sense. I'd worry about sexual compatibility if one or both didn't want to at least make out (I mean that in the literal sense) whenever possible.

     I’m just really freaked out by the porn thing being the only font of sexual knowledge for the more “trad” guys. Dudes who spend their live living at home w/ the family, maybe even trad enough that they don’t have a whole lot of internet access, have often been the most porn-poisoned of the lot. Couple that with homeschooling, a lifetime bereft of dates, and suddenly you have a very weird sexual brew percolating under the surface.

     I wouldn’t tell anyone to have premarital sex, but I would be nudging my girls to know as much as possible about the guy’s outlook, expectations, and patience in bed however they can. Just being open and honest about the good and bad of sex shouldn’t be impossible, but all the most messed up people seemed to be from environs where sex didn’t exist, it was always buried under the surface. When the only kind of sex you know is tainted by a lifetime of jewish pornography, I kinda get why you’d start to go down this line of questioning to say that God doesn’t want you spooning your wife because it’s dirty.

     That’s making a return, too. I’ve worked w/ a bunch of older people who adopted it, common for pilots because of the diff. sleep schedules. Every time I push them to sleep with their wife again because it’ll improve the relationship and they blow it off, until they try it.

     Humans are tribal, we like snuggling w/ our other half for bonding. IDK why they think you can leave the marriage on autopilot and treat each other no different from a dude you’re on a trip with

     Almost 30% of zoomers are virgins, I wouldn't doubt most of them have virtually zero experience with women outside of looking at porn and anime

     The anime is almost better than none though. IDK if it’s just the weirdo guys I’m thinking of, but I’m talking about the kind of people who would both eschew anime for being too inappropriate/worldly/satanic, but still succumb to gross porno behind closed doors in the dead of night. That’s the most dangerous coffin corner of all, because it gets nothing BUT the most unhealthy imaging and programming.

     At least some anime stuff is cute, wholesome, idealistic, and kinda trying to show the good in a marriage. I’d rather my girl marry a guy who’s watched a cutesy shoujou romance than a guy who’s only ever watched veggietales and christian TV channels

     Japan and Europe feel like they have the same level of POZ that America had in the 1980s. Men generally had *some* level of confidence, women still had *some* grace and there was genuine trust shown in the public square (if someone drops their groceries on a streetcorner everyone stops to help them). It's bittersweet to see the beautiful content the japs make knowing that that culture isn't going to last

     There are couples I know who have handled their relationships with a very serious approach to intimacy as it pertains to faith. People are open about it in the right context, but nobody is actively going around bragging about it or asking others. Like it's no secret you and your wife have a good handle on some of that if you have 6+ kids, and it's funny when all of their birthdays are stacked together around 9 months after the anniversary, two years apart. There certainly is a danger in trying to make an idol out of the standard of purity rather than simply being pure and handling the situation maturely after a private conversation with your spouse.

     It’s been a while since I’ve seen them, but I did know a few in HS and their marriages almost all universally exploded because of the woman’s piety colliding with the man’s secret coomerism. OTOMH I can think of 2 or 3, one she straight up bailed because she found his tranny porn laptop

     Part of that age gap is from lactation stopping ovulation in most ladies. It's funny how sometimes there's not much gap from the one who says "oops I haven't had a period in 8 years why am I suddenly pregnant"
