If you’re outfitting an army of retards, and you don’t want to blow a million rounds of practice ammo putting them through the range 3 hours a week, then you go with the latter.
Gun nerds hate it, of course, but it’s not about them. The DAO, .38 S&W Enfield is easier to shoot for a retard over the bigger, DA/SA .455, all while being smaller and lighter to boot. There’s much to appreciate in a grunt gun, and the industry often forgets most users are grunts.
