@confederatehobo The same thing kind of happened between these two guns. The first is “better” to an enthusiast, but requires more practice and dedication to make it effective. If you’re outfitting an army of retards, and you don’t want to blow a million rounds of practice ammo putting them through the range 3 hours a week, then you go with the latter.
Gun nerds hate it, of course, but it’s not about them. The DAO, .38 S&W Enfield is easier to shoot for a retard over the bigger, DA/SA .455, all while being smaller and lighter to boot. There’s much to appreciate in a grunt gun, and the industry often forgets most users are grunts.
