@SerfnUSA @Rasterman @Jens_Rasmussen I cut games with magic a lot of slack on Strong Women, because there's still room for the likes of superhuman bloodlines and magic affinity to explain powerful women warriors.
What TS does differently is the Noble characters actually speaking way more like Nobles than Redditors, they weigh their words carefully, they place great emphasis on being polite and courteous, on representing the family and realm well etc. There's a lot more "weight" to the characters and conversation in that sense, and the language feels a lot more old-fashioned.
By contrast, something like Dimitri's mini-debate with Edelgard at the end of Blue Lions is fine for the most part in terms of substance, but they speak like modern people, and Edelgard definitely thinks like one too.
