The world is getting freaky out there, and while the guys are TFW NO GF®, they’ve also quit trying for a woman, retreating from the field entirely. Who’s left? The horndogs, the cocksman, the playboys. There aren’t that many trustworthy, ‘good’ guys of quality like there used to be, and there’s still a cohort of women looking for that (granted we’re in a weird area, pretty trad, and still like 80% where she’s from.)
They aren’t into playing the field, they want a consistent relationship, and while the guys want it, they’re not coming into contact with these girls. Both sides go to a commuter schools and walk right out after class to drive home and “beat the traffic”. They work jobs and can’t flirt, they go to church on the prowl (and scare the women away b/c nice girls hate turning a handful of men down every week)
I wish the farms fedi was up, because I described this phenomenon once and beccassine chimed in asking how I described her sister to a T. It’s a very, sadly common pattern. The only reliable way to meet people is friends & family networking you to each other. You gotta be a guy who makes them feel that angst of a good guy going unused (b/c we’re kinda like prizes or fixes for women in a bad way) so they say “oh you’re single? you should totally meet my niece, she’s great, wanna see a pic?”
