@visone@fosstodon.org @coin@asimon.org @jrballesteros05@social.linux.pizza Huh, that's strange. Vaxry's blog posts detail that the "victim" as you put it was misgendering people as well. So to go with your analogy, its more akin to "someone comes into the bar and he gets into a fight with one of the staff".
The "victim" does indeed complain about it, you're right about that one, though obviously in a very skewed way. Drew picks up on this and makes a slanderous, uninformed blog post which starts up a hate campaign against Vaxry.
Almost 2 years later someone with too much authority at FDO picks up on it, and misuses their authority to ban Vaxry over something that happened far outside the scope of FDO. You seem to think this is justified, while I would very strongly disagree.
Regarding your "nothing change[d]", something did change. Under the enormous pressure Drew put Vaxry under, he did eventually adopt a CoC even though he was originally against it.
So your analogy doesn't seem to quite fit the narrative. Hence I'm curious as to how you could've gotten that viewpoint if you did honestly read both sides of this story.
