     @coin@asimon.org @jrballesteros05@social.linux.pizza Man, Drew's still upset at Vaxry? Last year he wrote about burning out, yet he keeps on doing his best to be involved in as much drama as he can, it makes little sense to me.
     
     As for Vaxry being banned by #CoC misuse, that's kind of the entire goal of having a CoC. Never trust a project that has a CoC, and always assume bad faith from anyone pushing for it. A CoC has never improved any community in any situation, and it never will.

     @fbievan @tyil @jrballesteros05 That's the thing. He has the laxest CoC but it wasn't upheld by his own CoC it was Free Desktop's.
     
     He also previously didn't have CoC but ended up making one after the Discord drama shit happened. Still very lax mind you.

     To get a little more specific on where I stand on Vaxary is:
     
     If you are going to host a community, be just decent enough where your moderation staff at least gets rid of shit that would get your community in trouble with others.
     
     Pretty much: Keep the community specifically about support, or a specific topic, or a community for a specific "thing".
     
     Futhermore, there should be no reason this community is on discord. There is just degerency on there, so I don't really feel any smypathy for Vaxary in terms of what happened on there.
     
     
     There's both opinons on both topics wrapped up there in two posts.

     for me, I say don't write a CoC because you will be held to that. Just ban people you don't want to be associated with your project, without that CoC need.
     
     I don't like a lot of what is happening inside that discord because, well, most of my fedi friends are trans and shit.
     
     
     CoC's are not needed. Simple.
     
     Note: this is my current opinion, might change in the future.

     Some people enter to a place, the people in that place start insulting them cause of ther sexual orientation, politics, etc, even the owner of the place.
     This people ask for a litle respect, and the bullying worsen.
     Some of the insulted users complains about that.
     The owner recive a warning from the organization that place belong.
     Nothing change.
     Loop.
     The organization ban that place

     @tyil @coin it seems that he acts like that when he tries to speak and "fix things" and he is ignored. It's not the first time I've seen him say things like:

     "This guy said this unpopular opinion, he shouldn't be allowed to any public event". I'm the first who strongly disagreed with that unpopular opinion, but until there is no proof to put that person in jail I think it is not right to cancel people in that way. That makes us the same or even more intolerant.
