     @nierenstein A few days ago my girl noted with some surprise that a full third of my wardrobe is stuff I inherited from the older guys in the family. Been getting hand-me-downs for a while, thanks to the fattening effects of goyslop and age.

     He once said that dealing w/ anyone political on either side meant that they were allergic to truly attractive women.      I know I have to bite my tongue even on here sometimes because I hate guys like this, I've known too many over the years and I find them small of soul and hobbled in mind.

     Guys who make their entire character and persona on a foundation of being some basic-ass grunt, even any other big, difficult rating, are cringe. You should integrate your experiences, adventures, and history into your greater being. You must be MORE than that role, but guys like this put the role in greater place than themselves.

     You see this phenomenon when niggers introduce themselves, I've been seeing it all my life. They don't say who they are, or even say nothing about themselves - they describe themselves as a thing, like "I'm a baller/rapper/musicia'/banger". They don't have any confidence in just being themselves, they have to say they're a defined subculture to do the heavy load of having a personality.

     For the guy wearing the grunt vet shirt, that's what he is above all. He doesn't want to stand alone and just be, he has to pivot all things back to his experience "serving" because his mind is utterly dominated by his adventures. You got to leave them behind and start a new one, build on top of it, add more blocks to your foundation from other walks of life

     I've had the argument with more pilots than riflemen, too. Maybe it's my friends who did sign up, but I don't see any sparkle on someone who brags about being an 11B. That GI-worship bullshit is running on fumes, upheld by the boomers because of the holocaustianist programming.

     When I see a guy endlessly bragging about how he was a REAL COMBAT MOS I see someone too friggin stupid to negotiate a better deal out of uncle sam, a guy who's too dumb to do anything but eke out a living working at gun stores and "training" programs, and guy who just can't be MORE than the rifleman badge he earned at 19 years old.

     It's much cooler to offhandedly mention it when you're in a totally different line of work:

     "yeah, actually we bagged an F16 in one of our exercises with the stinger, it was hilarious"

     "wait, what?"

     "oh yeah I was a ranger a long time ago."

     "holy shit no wonder you're a doctor now"

     My experience is that women 18-28 are way more likely to be turned on by a classically proportioned man in hugo boss than they are by Mr. Budweiser in a GWOT slogan tshirt.

     It's just like anything where a person allows something external to be their entire identity, and it becomes beyond cringe.
     
     My grandpa is the funniest cringelord, he spent a whole 2 years in the army, basically basic training and then just had to live on a base, and he talks all the time about how he knows what the military is like and about discipline and stuff.
