MisatoI wanna ask a question to you guys. Why don't you make funny contents like Japanese manga or something?(I knew about censorship translate problem) I guess, you should make the funny contents for own you than learn about Japanese. I guess, that way is efficient than learn Japanese language.
@Misato I like the content Japan exports, simple as
Also most western content sucks ass, it has been so thoroughly pozzed over the years that anything with a significant budget has traces of faggot kikery, which makes it quite hard to tolerate.
@Misato The west has succumbed to the progressive agenda(In the past, I identified the holder of this agenda with globalism, but at this point I think it has changed its name?), this agenda uses “woke” political correctness in a state of natural symbiosis. Everything must follow the single thought, for the moment everything is stagnant and dead. In my case, I'm simply akin to Japanese "otaku" fan things, it was like that from the beginning.
@Misato That's an interesting question! For me, my take is that while the influence of Japanese aesthetics in Western art and culture is only increasing year by year, it still isn't enough to stop the demand for Japanese creative works because (among other things) the prevailing view among a lot of Westerners, especially in the business world, is that the Western analogs to what the Japanese make are unserious and that they should be ideological propaganda pieces marketed either to children or to shut-in adults. Also the impact of piracy and widespread internet access in giving Westerners a taste for Japanese media can't be underrated as well.
@Misato@toast I would also add that we westerners are totally atomized, so there are almost no informal mid-sized groups or events for artists to hone their skills in. Everything's either online-only (not real freinds), extremely small (A group of friends who already know each other), or extremely formal with top-down control and strict etiquette (school organizations, megacorp sponsored events), or huge and made soulless by mass-appeal (comic-con, LAX)
I see. thanks for the info! And to be honest, I'm very lucky was born as a Japanese...I think if I was born as a English man( England or USA), I get wildly excited about Japanese Otaku contents.... It's not equality system. probably most weebs are wanna live for Otaku life that reason is very enough....I think. Cuz If you have money, you can get the otaku goods, easily.
Well, to be honest...Japanese people are no power...most Japanese people don't know about important of Otaku culture in this world...so you speak to Japanese, what happend western side, I'm try to
@Misato To be honest I'm not sure how accurate all of that is, maybe I'm just too anti-social and so written off stuff. I think it's roughly accurate though. You japanese are certainly lucky to live in the last remaining developed traditional country in the world, though that means you are also the final, solitary defenders of a more sane world. I hope you can protect it and we can adopt the creative engine that is doujin culture.
@Misato in western countries, most forms of expressions in television, videos, comics and such will be restricted socially because "it might offend some group!! You're a bad person! We'll make you lose your job!" Now all our entertainment is forced to be boring, so we look at Japanese anime/manga/games since those are still interesting.
@Halo@Misato Oh like western otaku specifically?? I personally don't have creative talent, and my main form of enjoyment is gushing about the things I like with a community of people with similar interests, which would be difficult to foster around something created from scratch.
@Misato Western entertainment, in pretty much all levels, is completely controlled by the progressive type. Any sort of content dissident to their ideals will encounter endless obstacles and ultimately fail. As a result of that everything is either cancerous or boring and lame.
I see so it's no chanse :cirno_shrug: I thought You guys mad about translation problem to Japanese contents but I have a doubt " Why you guys make your own sounds like art works? That way is efficient"
@Shizu@Misato Yeah there's just no point. If you make a comic or something it might become popular with people online if you're really lucky, but there's basically no chance a company will work with you unless you are very leftist.
In Japan it's fairly easy for people to get a deal with a company and grow. You can't do that in western society at all unless you tick the right diversity boxes and can be used to create propaganda.
@Misato completely impossible unless you're using some leftist as a stepping stone to get popular with your comic but even then, you're gonna get mobbed by the crowd as le Nazi or something else or any slightly disapproving opinion will change all thoughts towards you as some wicked human being with no moral etc. For not approving child mutilation and feeding delusions if being a girl Plus I can't draw or have ideas for something original besides for already existing eastern Asian stuff
Yeah. You mean so you don't have environment for manga in western, right? I'm living in Japan so I didn't know about western situation it's seems like a china of west ver Perhaps, If I move to left side instance(Mastodon or twitter..etc) I can't draw, freely. So western have many cancel culture about Manga or something others. Then you can't make contents. it's like you try to make Ero Doujinshi in China, if you wanna do your own manga in western.
@Misato want to add that American society also has this bad culture where everyone loves dogging the entire population that if you aren't productive 24/7 7 days a week, you're wasting your time especially if you're creating comics or manga in your free time because the culture is obsessed with money and niggers make it worse
I didn't notice that point. I saw some beautiful art from overseas people( Korean,Chinese, USA) so I thought they are having skill about make your own manga but it's not easy.
I also hear from those pursuing art in any educational form that they are often harshly scolded at for even showing an interest in anime/manga art because “its not real art” despite it being one of the most popular and successful in recent history :tanya_ehh:
Oh....Poor western weebs.... What's the hell, it's really suck and shit hole manga the business world. Who do you wanna buy extreme left porno manga? Western comic business world is die and ending.
@Misato we have environments for manga or anime drawings, but it's dominated by leftists women who turn characters from the top 10 shounen anime and Shoujo anime into niggers or extremely pozzed storylines and characters Basically, you can't go anywhere here without seeing someone from a leftist shithole in it and promote leftist ideals in it as le good along with trannyism Your only option is going online if you want to talk about anime which is also pozzed majority of the time :akko_weary:
Yeah, it might be true lel If you learn Japanese A1 level( I mean I talking about CEFR standard), you can have fun with slice of life anime or manga, vtuber clip, something. But it's so hard because Japanese language is very difficult for overseas people lol The grammars system is very different and you think " When I use this kanji in my Japanese language life??" Probably, if you wanna have fun with Japanese language, you should sing J-pop or Japanese anime song, something on karaoke. Sadly, you guys are don't have easy Japanese learning contents for English native or overseas people so They are quit Japanese learning. The language learning are don't have goals but especially the Japanese are very messy language lol Even Japanese me, I'm still learning about kanji now lol To be honest, English is easy for me( As a Japanese)
@Misato Not creative enough, can't draw or program either so  And I don't know if I'd have fun creating something myself. Learning the language just gives me a lot more options for entertainment than trying to make my own stuff
@Misato@luithe I dont know how it is in the rest of the world, but artists here are super egotistical and are very often complete assholes, instead of cultivate art and a community with others they attacks and berate their peers everything is seen as competition :tanya_sigh:
WTF lol Well I think I think I'm happy was born as a Japanese....we don't do like that things well we have similar cases in our community so it's a rarely case. In generally, we are focusing on connection with other especially show the Japanese manga like that part. we are regard as important with other friendship. And also currently Japanese are hate about fight.(Change to say way, we are stop to talk about important topic, and sensitive topic)
@kilostere@Misato western society generally has this problem since the early 1500's with de Vinci and other artists at the time who painted treating it as a competition due to the amount of money you could make from the lords which then evolved into artists going competitive for company shots
@Misato Yeah, it's not easy. But I'm having fun learning. First with easier content, learn more and more words from them, then moving on to more difficult stuff. My learning content is simply anime, manga, VN, videogames in Japanese. So I'm learning with the stuff I wanna do anyway.
English is not my first language, and I learned English the same way. With media, video games, internet. So I'll be fine
What!? Aren't you not English native!? Wow,that's so cool. Amazing! I can't believe that! That's why you can keep learning about Japanese. But you are doing very well, if other people do your style, they are quit Japanese learning soon, I guess lol I'm really happy you started to Japanese language but don't go overboard. I hope you have fun with our language. Good luck! :gura_approval:
@Misato comic have died a half a decade ago or a decade ago And it's generally the fault of suits not knowing what people want and hiring leftists in and niggers :zt_sad: And I wouldn't want American created manga to get popular to get serialize in Japan either when majority of the artists are leftists women/dudes
@Misato I visited japan awhile ago, it was pretty nice able to walk and use train everywhere, no need for car :popuko_nod: good food, clean streets, quiet and considerate people :popuko_nod:
@Misato Thanks. And yeah, I'm a proud :windmilloffriendship: :chad0: I think most people quit with traditional learning methods because they aren't very fun. With this method you can jump straight into media and have fun, which also helps you remember better.
草。 Well it's a difficult, to be honest. But in my impression, Japanese Otaku people hate about political correctness。 You should search at ポリコレ and マンガ、アニメ、ゲーム on Twitter (Nitter) or net, Youtube. You can see opinion of Japanese people, basically Japanese people don't like about ポリコレ(political correctness), Japanese people direct say that opinion irl but you can see negative opinions from net.( negative opinions are a bit many than positive opinions in Japanese otaku<net>)
@Misato why haven't Japanese torched that "black owned anime studio" and bully that faggot off his job? If it wasn't for oda still creating, one piece probably would've become a shitty shounen trying to shove leftism
@kilostere American Artists: Fight and bicker and try to take others down so they can step on top of each other to get ahead, constantly living paranoid lives worried about who will come after them. Foreign Artists: Work really hard day in, day out to get themselves acknowledged, recognized, and contracted by big projects, having only themselves to blame if unsuccessful.
I believe that modern American culture is fundamentally rotten. We don't bring other people up, we put other people down. The former results in many people reaching great heights together, and the latter results in the top players being very low while everyone else even lower. Of course, not everyone will be able to keep up or win along the way, but we used to work alongside fellow players in the field.
Maybe it's human nature to want to ensure they have no competition. @Misato
白人の日本 is meaning " Japan of white" so that word is weird. に is ~ for,to, よる(因る)is meaning such like a 〈原因となる〉 be due [owing] to; be caused 《by》or 〈応じる, 基づく〉 be based [founded] on; depend [rely, hang] on.
Therefore I should translate " We never forgive about contempt to Japanese by white"
In this case, "by" is will be "による”.
" 白人による日本侮蔑は許さないぞ!<はくじんによるにほんぶべつはゆるさないぞ!>
による is very difficult expression so you just remember as a example for that word.
Well I think probably your interpretation is right. I'm not sure what do you wanna ask that, my bad. I can understand just because what's you said...
たぶん、君は”〜よる”の部分は分かるけど、この日本人が”白人の日本侮蔑”という言葉についてを語っているんだよね? その言葉が英語では”White's Japanese contempt"になるか聞きたいんだよね?
Probably, you understand "by" meaning in Japanese, but you talking about "white's Japanese contempt" or "~の”,right? And you wanna ask about ”白人の日本侮蔑” translate result will be "White's Japanese contempt", right?
A. well it's no problem cuz he said his words never say same phrases. you know your listening skill is not bad i mean it's so good type than others. And also if i had to say I feeling little weird about "はい、そうだ。”
はい is meaning polite "Yes" But そうだ is meaning not formal "Yes " or "right". So you mixed in your sentence so i felt weird but in general your sentence is very good
I see, well I guess western side can't publish the manga cuz I knew western side is like a China from here. like you said you have to fall back on the internet, if you wanna represent about manga or Moe comic, something. Well thanks for the info,ya. see ya
@Misato Publishing is difficult. How does one post and profit from their work without getting vetted or comply to the current agenda? It's technically possible via self-hosting services, but that will still not be enough. It has to gain interest and views without some artificially produced promotion or advertising like "shilling" or sponsorships. You'd have to rely on the word of mouth to promote your work. It doesn't help that there's not much adult fan magazine publications like with COMIC HOTMILK or COMIC LO in the US, either. If there is, it's likely confiscated or limited to promote certain beliefs that are parroted everywhere. Or worse, a possible grift. There's hardly much in Europe or anywhere that's not East Asian, unless you know their language and culture.
Despite the sour state of Western media (particularly animation), I want to make better cartoons, even if the Western animation circles are overwhelmingly small. Sadly, online is the ONLY method for my work to gain popularity without as much scrutiny elsewhere. There are attempts to resolve this like with independent comic creators (like Eric July's Rippaverse), but they look too much like those Big Two comic companies. It's not gonna show up in stores however since they're still restrictive. Even the independent comics scene in the US was limited back then. It'll change when someone has a mass printing press that can easily produce thousands of those cute and funny comics for the disenfranchised dudes to enjoy (I hope). 6095fd3365490872397731a79d9689aa.jpg 2576625-comic_hot_milk_v_35.jpg 800px-Akiba-Sofmap-1st-Store-In-Akihabara-768x496.jpg
@Misato Be grateful that you have a longstanding and thriving Comiket along with other local markets in real life Nippon, where you may freely appreciate the cute and funny female form without much baizuo shaming you for it. Perhaps a portion of the United States may one day have such a place, but it will take time. Good day to you, and you're welcome. f27ae9e205a4bb165d1b649a5ed18da5.png
