     She doesn’t want to drop the weight because she thinks it’s “showy”, ostentatious, trying to gather attention to herself.

     She’s probably a nice enough person, because of that. She’s looking out for how others view her and trying to quietly take care of this problem she got into without disrupting anyone else. That’s nice.

     Women operate on a different plane, the problem is secondary, they worry about solving it in a way that maintains their good graces within the group.

     It’s silly to us because we know people would get it, but in her mind, she judges other people doing that kind of thing, and she’d rather die than join the ranks of the chick yelling “HEY I NEED ATTENTION! SOMEONE COME SPOT ME!”

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Which adds to the suspicion that it was indeed some kind of TikTok trap. Tbh if I ran a gym I would have any form of video/audio recording needing approval from mgmt first.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot she may not be a whore, but she's at least trying to attract a guy's attention with that get up. Her problem is that because of a bunch of "MeToo" like incidents against random guys at the gym, a lot of guys just stopped interacting with women in such a setting.

     @AnimeTradCath I tend to ignore women who need help unless they’re white and appear to be a mother. The rest don’t merit the risk. Girls dressed to impress read as lures, to me, that’s a common tactic around the world and even if it hasn’t totally caught on in the states it’s good to avoid it

     filming yourself doing 1lmaopl8 bad squats in nude leggings and not knowing how to dump a bar is annoying for everyone at the gym. I hate seeing a camera setup or even having a camera out at the gym. People are wasting their time and others time fiddling with their phone/camera and taking up equipment.

     I don't know I always see those dumb videos of women bothering other women to tell them how awesome, strong, and good they're doing. I also see women at the gym bother guys in the middle of their sets to ask them dumb things like if they're almost done or if they're using some far off piece of equipment.

     I think it could be legitimate. One of the things you will see a lot if you respond to medical emergencies is women getting hurt/dying because they're in trouble but don't tell anyone.
     
     The classic example is someone choking on food at a restaurant - men will gasp, get help, someone will do the Heimlich, and they'll laugh then finish their dinner. Women will scurry away to the bathroom and die in a stall because they don't want to embarrass themselves.
     
     Some women take advantage of men's inclination to help, but they often do need help. I don't look down on women for hiding their troubles, it's how God made them. Men are there to protect them; damn the ones who take advantage of that to set men up.

     It seems like a total setup and I'm sure every guy seeing it think: have camera setup, wearing revealing clothes, start asking for help,edit the footage and put a guy on blast for helping her up even though she totally had it.
