   So I DELETED my poa.st acct. I recieved just under 100 messages calling me the most VILE names you can imagine. Then a kid said I’m a ‘’RACE TRAITOR’’ for putting shade on the Provisional Irish Republican Army and George Rockwell. Then a guy anonymously threatened me - I invited him to handle his business and a GREEK chorus called me an ‘’internet tough guy’’. Then I was told I was not WELCOME there because I am a ‘’REPUBLICAN’’ - and I’m poisoning the revolutionary well because I am a ‘’BOOMER REPUBLICAN’’. Ima reiterate that going DARK is the way to go for this thing. The online presence masquerading as DISSENT is just 4CHAN.
   
   I don’t NEED to do this. And my time is valuable to me. I’m not gonna dedicate time, effort, and assume some RISK frankly so that I can be told by illiterates that I am a ‘’BOOMER REPUBLICAN’’ for not liking ANIME and the PIRA.
   
   For CLARITY - I am NOT sensitive to being THREATENED/INSULTED. Happens CONSTANTLY - the poa.st thing took me aback b/c I recieved a LOT of requests to participate there. I DO so, and upon doing so, I’m deluged (from people on ‘’OUR SIDE’’ purportedly) with the most VICIOUS insults I’ve ever heard - FAR more personal and bizarre than anything I recieve practically DAILY from ANTIFA. THAT is what gave me pause. I’ll take care to NOT overreact in the future.

     @monsterislandcolonizer @yockeypuck If you got proof of that I'm willing to change my mind, because a cursory glance at his substack and posting history on gab makes him seem like someone I totally dislike, but that's more a personal instinct-based position just as much as it is evidenced.

     He and I are incompatible, He's got a sort of navelgazer post-hippie "I'm the last generation of REAL MEN" essence that I find just utterly unlikable. Granted, I didn't invest much effort into investigating so it's a veneer check on my part - but I don't want to spend more time assessing him when I can instinctively tell he and I would hate each other IRL, even IF we share a good deal of ideological positions.

     Old man can stay in his clubhouse, we stay in ours. It's not awful to be able to say you simply don't like someone and stay on the same team, I've done it sometimes and it's actually freeing at work.

     @poastoak @monsterislandcolonizer @yockeypuck There's probably some cool stuff in his body of work, I saw he spoke on the nuremburg trials. He and I just don't have compatible wavelengths, so my distaste for him isn't too based on principle. I trust my gut, i actually don't have an active distaste for most people, no matter how imperfect. It's just this 3 to 8% of the population that doesn't mesh with me.

     Most of them are psych types, people who love therapy, "mental health", and the like.
