   @transgrammaractivist @Bunny @ComfyGuy @Vril_Oreilly @Paultron I did cold approaches from 14 yo on up, saw the difficulty vastly increase about every 5 years. From about 2016/17 on up they went so much worse, particularly for college girls. They listen to murdercrime media 24/7, watch gangrape porn, and attend lectures stoking their fears about men hunting them for sport and it becomes a soup of absolute insanity sloshing around in their heads

   I stopped approaching a bit after that, but then again my finding system was giving me enough contacts through work for a time.

     @RupertvonRipp @transgrammaractivist @Bunny @ComfyGuy @Vril_Oreilly @Paultron The upside is that parents are now getting that things are a nightmare. For a few years my mom was telling me to stay single because the chicks I would bring home were bonkers

     I see a lot more fear in their cohort that their kids will never find anybody, and they're willing to go into the old-fashioned way to find a spouse. Have literally JUST had a nice 40's lady ask me if "arranged marriages are weird or not" because she knows a boy who she thinks would match her daughter, but she doesn't want her rejecting him just because he's a mom-recommend

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @RupertvonRipp @transgrammaractivist @Bunny @ComfyGuy @Vril_Oreilly @Paultron Have had a fair number of conversations with late genX guys recently and a lot of them have this problem:

     They have kids who then never leave the house, and they don't want to kick them out like the boomers did, but if they don't get kicked out then they'll be a leech on the household until they expire. They don't even get solace in a retirement helper, because they failed to launch careers from their useless college degrees.

     "how's that work, like I was a loser and a bum when I'm sitting around at home but once I'm doing it in YOUR house suddenly it's all cool and fine?"

     (she/we weren't really serious at the time though so she didn't really 'get' why it was a big deal to them)
