     @yockeypuck @weaf @Giga_Vril_Breaker I could not play it at all. In arcanum/fallout/etc every text is something important. In pillars you get a shitload of text about fucking nothing. "I my previous life I was a peasant, here is most boring day in my life..." bullshit. Game should not fucking waste my time with pointless nonsense. I have no idea why they put it into the game, which was boring to begin with.

     @weaf I was expecting a crash in the video games industry but, seeing what happened with Helldivers 2, I'm not so sure they're will be a proper crash at this point. It might just be a graceful transfer of influence from soulless corporations to indie devs.

     @Nesano Imho we're seeing the end of game publishers like how the Hollywood studio system died in the 50s. A lot of stuff is going to shift from big name studios to talented individuals driving stuff creatively. A lot of it will be shit, and a lot of it will be chaotic, but that's what I'm seeing.
