     @Whitewall_Blasphemy @zombiefinatic @backagain88 @Wormwood They’re just neurotic, and they don’t have the same generalized intel that guys seem to. I used to spend a lot of time with this doctor who was pretty smart, but it was very limited and entirely built upon rote memorization. She could only make connections she’d seen before, if I had to sum it up. It wasn’t the kind of intel that would apply itself to other stuff, like figuring out why her car wouldn’t start.

Skated through all the ‘advanced’ shit in public school only to tackle a hard major in college and find out I’d never had to actually study or buckle down academically. It was very humbling to find out I was just excelling among retards when I found myself the guy in the class fighting tooth and nail for a C+ in Ochem.

     Even the “we gotta challenge the kids” nonsense was too easy. The chinks have the right idea in that respect

     I used to wonder why that would happen but then I learned that they design everything to work best for average people and those on the far right of the bell curve "fall through the cracks" since it is assumed that they're smart so they'll figure it all out on their own.
     
     Even the gifted programs aren't enough often times.
     
     If you have children or relatives who you think might fall into this category go have their IQ tested and see where they're at because if they're that smart the public schools will not be able to help them reach their full potential. Especially these days.

     i've written about this before but it's just a waste of time, even the gifted programs, because the format and material is pretty much the same - like maybe they'll get to calculus earlier but 90% of it is still unnecessary drudgery and they won't be challenged for years. the whole education system needs to be scrapped and privatized with small networks tutors who can basically choose their students. most of this can also be done online now.

     Maybe we should start a "grifted and talented" program where we teach the youth to scam money from republicans that would normally go to israel and jews and divert it to good causes.

Stuff that’s totally doable for teens, like lab assistants, technicians, and interns so they can be useful and develop functional skills

     absolutely. it would also have them starting at the bottom to learn how things work while still contributing instead of spinning their wheels. it's pretty obvious by about 14 years old who would be suited for this kind of path and honestly for the rest of the kids their subsidized education should pretty much stop there. this stupid shit where you need to finance a 4 year degree to step into a management position without ever having managed or been managed in a workplace is toxic upside-down shit.
