Everyone makes fun of me 'cause I learned from thrifty grandma and wash/reuse my ziploc bags, wash/wax my own cars, repair my gear, and wear my work gear to the point of becoming threadbare.
Interesting how such habits skipped 2 generations entirely, the only ones who agree with me are those who hewed to the old depression-era memories about how bad things can get.
