   I don't buy into the based Putin meme. Russians are being demographically replaced by Asians and Muslims in the name of "Denazification", he's said nationalism is the enemy, AIDS and abortion rates are skyrocketing. Yeah his country is still very anti-gay but Putin, like Trump, is made out to be a lot more reactionary than he actually is by the western media.

     @PraxisOfEvil I'm not saying there are no problems (many dragged from the 90's pillaging), but my impression when I was there a few years back (although after 2014 conflict started) was not of decline but of restoration and embracing all their history. Very nice place and Walmart race was nowhere to be found.
     
     There's been a lot of brain drain ofc, Russians are smart and many have taken advantage of it by getting very well paid jobs in the Anglosphere. But both that trend and low birth rates can be reversed by policies and events. i.e. winning a war and annexing territory is a massive moral victory that could help.
     
     I have to look at the AIDS stats. Given we know AIDS is spread among fags and junkies, my intuition tells me this could be a meme stat and that is not so much different than America or other lower income Euro countries.
     
     Regarding inflation, you gotta consider it hits differently than in hyper financialized economies like America, where inflation hits all those fake desk jobs companies, mortgages, loans, etc. What you perceive as catastrophic numbers are just the norm in Eastern Europe or Latin America. People and economy there has a resilience to it.

     @MechaSilvio Russia is still a comfortable place to live despite what propagandists in the west tell you. I think a lot of the critique comes from Amerigoblins that see a foreign society existing without nig worship and goyslop dispensaries on every corner and it gives them cognitive dissonance.

     Would I want to live in Russia? I don't know, but then again I don't know if I'd want to be an expat and assimilate to any foreign culture where I'd be considered the outsider even if said culture was more tolerable than what I tolerate living here.

     All that said, I'll reiterate that I don't want ourguys valorizing a foreign country or fantasizing about leaving America when there is still so much work to be done to try and defeat the gay nigger communism here.

     @PraxisOfEvil Don't fall for the "Moscow is browner than Paris meme", a total glow op. Yes, there is a central Asian population component, many Muslims, but they've always been in the Russian empire.
     
     Governments, companies and NGOs are not resettling Arabs in the dachas. Nor you see open propaganda against Russians.

     @MechaSilvio Fair point, despite my misgivings about Putin the man, Russia and most of Eastern Europe have healthier cultures than America by a longshot. At least healthy in the sense that brown gay communists don't run every institution...yet.

     @PraxisOfEvil @MechaSilvio Russians have an alien soul, they're a distinct race with a heart that's just on a different wavelength from ours. That's why people feel stifled, or weirded out, because they just can't harmonize with those frequencies abroad.

     Same thing when you import a russian wife here - she's nihilistic, dark, kind of sharp edged in a way you don't often see here. To them, americans are faking kindness and enthusiasm for our own, probably one of those things that years of harsh soviet-jew rule really beat out of them. Extended, tight-knit families got ravaged by infighting when they could narc each other out for status

     But that's just what I've come to believe after dealing with them, knowing their expats and the guys who married them

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @PraxisOfEvil @MechaSilvio R1a humans are not so different from R1b, but I feel like if we had a wave of Russian immigration to the US, probably half would be misdiagnosed as autistic and the other half as clinically depressed when that's just kinda how they are.

     @veff @PraxisOfEvil @MechaSilvio Yeah, that's how they are. We sometimes carpet all the whiter races as more monolithic than we are, there's a lot of differentiation within the greater family. They're way, way better than most other races, but I wouldn't be eager to move into a property that's surrounded by russians on all 20 sides, I like good my good heartland settler stock the most

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @PraxisOfEvil @MechaSilvio High school sweetheart was a second generation Russian immigrant. She didn't have a lot of friends because the other girls thought she was aloof. At the time it was perfect for my lack of self confidence, but I could've easily been stuck in that pit with no growth.

     Sometimes I still wish things worked out, but ultimately I think I could do better. No offense to any russian chicks reading this
