     I was buying Gushers and beer last week and the guy bagging the groceries was like, "damn, that's an interesting combo." I'm like, "hey man, I'm not gonna consume them together." He says, "why not?" Probably a cool dude. We'll almost certainly never talk again though.

     @c On first impression, I don't care for a lot of people either, but really, a lot of people are cool when you get to know them. At any rate, my parents forced me to do public speaking and debate since I was 8, so can compensate.

     @parker Yeah. I think that will become more and more true as the average young person becomes basically socially disabled from not being raised properly and being too attached to technology.

     @hidden I mean, I know plenty of autistic people, my son's heavily autistic, and we work very hard to socialize him. But it seems like a lot of people online self-diagnose as autistic when they really aren't.

     @parker From my experience most autistic women (who aren't intellectually disabled by it,) work extremely hard trying to act normal. Whereas autistic men generally don't bother. I assume it has something to do with how autistic boys are raised, but I think it's a serious disservice to not try to encourage them to learn to interact with others properly.
