wait a fucking second: This smartphone has a FLIR camera built in, and also the GPS has broken so that it doesn't work while you're in motion. This isn't a hardware failure, this is a software bug they delivered in an update.
I thought this was just incompetence but I just had the horrific thought that this might have been on purpose, and related to the fact it has FLIR

like, I know there's restrictions on GPS units because of the worry that they might be used in missiles, and there's similar restrictions on FLIR units, but maybe there's some additional restrictions on devices that can do the combination of FLIR/GPS?
Maybe Ulefone broke their GPS system on purpose because otherwise this phone would violate some kind of import restriction?

so apparently some content from her OnlyFans got leaked/pirated.
The first DMCA lists her onlyfans, tiktok, and instagram as the original content, and says it's being illegally posted on some other sites, like "porntoc" which seems to be pirated tiktok NSFW content, but they also list, as one of the sites reposting it, as THE MOBILE VERSION OF THE ULEFONE PRODUCTS PAGE

so the first of the two DMCAs lists 19 URLs.
12 of them are on porntoc.
The ones that aren't are ulefone, livelypup (a site that sells dog food bowls), livelylys (who sell templates for photoshop), munyonspawpaw (a liqueur), and samsungpuan (the samsung dealer site for Turkey), and Unihertz which seems to be another smartphone maker

And it's not hard to mcgyver a gps pick with a flir sensor and your choice of SBC, so... doubtful. (But not impossible!)

Bullitt (aka CAT) has one or two FLIR phones and I don't think they have disabled GPSs
(Also, is an actual FLIR sensor or some Chinese IR sensor that probably isn't covered by US ITAR restrictions?)

I still think it's crap software (or worse, crap GPS hardware. Would not be the first time).
With like 5 different GNSS constellations available, some of which aren't the US GPS, bloody hell this should work.

@favretto oh it's definitely a software problem: the phone worked fine when I got it, they pushed out an updated that broke it.

@favretto nah, that's the thing:
it can do GPS fixes just fine when the phone is stationary. It's only when you switch to the constant-updates mode that navigation mode needs that it breaks.
(and other users have had the same failure. they definitely sent out an update that broke it)
