I still think it's crap software (or worse, crap GPS hardware. Would not be the first time).

With like 5 different GNSS constellations available, some of which aren't the US GPS, bloody hell this should work.

Bullitt (aka CAT) has one or two FLIR phones and I don't think they have disabled GPSs

(Also, is an actual FLIR sensor or some Chinese IR sensor that probably isn't covered by US ITAR restrictions?)
