     @splitshockvirus @futt @splitshockvirus I think he made a video about it. I think it was too much work to moderate alongside his other stuff.

     @coin @futt Yeah DT messed up the instance and had to roll it back 11 days. That's when he decided he was done hosting an instance (something he wanted to try out years before) and he moved to @distrotube. He made the shutdown announcement on 2022-02-08.

     #DistroToot refugees moved to other instances, and posted themselves under #DistroTootRefugee so they could find each other. The biggest group of DistroToot refugees moved to https://mstdn.starnix.network, which @splitshockvirus and I are on.

     I also happened to have my own Pleroma instance at the time, which I didn't really have a use for until then, but I started using it to follow all the DistroToot refugees in case I wasn't able to find another instance in time before DistroToot shut down. Luckily, #Starnix launched so I continued right where I left off, and I had two accounts on the fediverse, and I created more since.

     Since then, I've wanted to find my fediverse posts that got lost in the archive, but I recently found them on other instances and reposted the content under this profile.
