@Rasterman I just got acknowledged of it today. Sooooo...... Milei got the leftists at Davos :reeEEEE: with his speech, uh ?.
I guess the tide of leftists tears was too tall not to notice.
-
@Rasterman @TheMadPirate he delivers a basic libertarian economics class, the relevant part is the last 5 minutes where he softly warns them to not go down the path of socialism
-
@WandererUber @TheMadPirate Kind of like Vivek Ramaswami being more based than Hitler by saying... that there are only two genders.
Miley's speech was basic for libertarians, but it strikes harder when the audience is made up of socialists.
-
@TheMadPirate It was great and it increased his international popularity a substantial amount.
Even Niglon shared it a few times, including an AI dub in Milei's voice (but in English).
Miley's speech got the K's defending Davos. :nixonlol:
Here's the normal English translation, just in case. I'm sure you already saw the original.

@Rasterman @TheMadPirate @WandererUber It's one thing to say socialism is evil to a bunch of libertarians, it's another to say it in front of a bunch of reptilians inside their home base.

@Rasterman @TheMadPirate Somewhere along the lines the WEF did a hard rebrand. They used to be very closed doors, had massive protests outside, security, everything.
Now they are streaming their stuff, posting shit on social media and taking countless Ls on cam, Schwab pretends like he is some bigshot. Get the feeling important decisions are being made elsewhere, they're just a scapegoat at this point...

@WandererUber @TheMadPirate I think Klaus Schwab jumped the shark and made normies aware of the WEF insanity when he decided to show up dressed like a Deus Ex villain.
