     @monsterislandcolonizer This is what it feels like in the metros, but there're still portions of this country that are mine. They're outskirts, the interstitial tissues that connect the organs of the nation from one metropolis to the other, but they're always home.

     A ranch on the horizon, a truck meandering along the 2-lane at a pace slow enough to say 'hi' as the old man passes, "just stoppin' by on the way back from town" turning to 3 hour conversations, that is what my homeland is. Those are my people, the grandsons of white settlers, kind and giving, hardscrabble and humble, and the land our joint ancestors claimed is home to us. Nobody else wanted it until we turned it into paradise.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @monsterislandcolonizer Yeah, basically. A lot of people try to sound smart by ragging on America as if it's defined the way the various politicians and freaks glibly define it, but it's a nation with a history and a clear ethnic background. When people conflate America with D.C. and the various nog hives that neither identify with nor resemble the men that built the empire, they're exposing themselves as either stupid or malicious.
     
     Once the dross is made to leave, there are plenty of Neil Armstrongs and John Nashes in the hinterlands, ready to fill the vacuum.

     @IsraelDelendaEst @AmericanChampion @monsterislandcolonizer The mask is falling off, people I meet aren't trying to pretend "there are plenty of good ones" like they used to. The only time they see browns is when they make the drive out to commute. Hell, I literally just saw a crew of all white men building a hangar, nearest walmart was about an hour away.

     The shitskins go where the easy money is, they don't like getting away from the cities just yet. Also helps if the winters are harsh, thins out the tropical groids a little bit.

     Unfortunately that contraction is for "was" not "is". White isn't an ethnicity.
