     They are though. But it's like... So are sideways peelers and the seamless masher I have. Tools are good, I assume people can figure that out on their own unless they are complaining about how much their peeler sucks.

     I've used an air fryer like 3 times and honestly they are kinda gross. Then again I hardly use a m*crowave beyond heating water up so I am biased. Just put the food in the oven or on the stove lol.

     They make everything gross. So I also don't tend to store meals, which is a hassle, but it's better than dealing with microwaves.
     I can definitely see the connection though.

     @7666 I think deep frying is much better, but I do not think it is faster, mainly because the capacity is lower.
     And it makes a massive mess. I really need a deep fryer that is not shitty entry-level thing to correct both of these problems, then I will go back to making my own chips.

     @Zerglingman I just use a large saucepan with a thermometer. Need a bigger fryer? Use a large pot. Don't want a mess? Don't fill it up past halfway.
