     They want to pretend that their headline data is not a lie, and that there is just a /mysterious/ SOMETHING that is blocking that from being the lived reality of Joe and Jane Schmoe.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @sickburnbro I see #1 in action quite a bit with a 25-30 age group that has no regular work, lives with parents/flophouse and picks up gig work just enough to pay for goyfeed and weed for the week.
