Kind of like JF's little quip about how chickens evolved into a pseudo-hive organism that co-opted human agriculture to serve as its reproductive strategy (a small south asian jungle fowl now covers the entire planet with a population of billions.)

Consider the congoloid, evolved (inb4 hellthread, lets just say for the sake of my just-so story here) to be juuust human enough to parasite off the largesse of actual humans to balloon their population and spread to every corner of the globe. Speech mimicry, convergent body form, all to trigger the "helpless child" emotional response while expending the bare minimum of energy. An ecological niche that was created from the peculiarites of the european mind, and the negro fit himself snug into it.

You could probably write a sci-fi horror story about this and fly right under the radar. Just make them look like teddy bear aliens or something but keep the reproductive strategy in tact.
