     @Rasterman I recall that being his response to 9/11 hysteria, outlining why the arab world hates america. It’s pretty cogent and respectable, glad people are reading it again because it has a lot of food for thought

     @Rasterman yeah, the zoomers have been going through it on tiktok. It’s funny because they’re always so surprised bin laden was educated and westernized.

     @Rasterman @WashedOutGundamPilot I remember I got in massive trouble in school for "attempting to overshadow the Holocaust" by pointing out that the Armenian and Pontic Greek genocides under the Ottomans also happened, but nobody seems to care.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot I remember after 9/11 how the news would keep showing "new" Bin Laden clips, but there never were any subtitles (and Bin Laden's grey hairs kept disappearing the newer the video). :thinker:
     
     Same as when school took us to an Anne Frank museum with a mandatory Hitler speech with no subtitles. :pepedisappoint:
