I am almost positive that whatever you are reading was written in the 80s-90s because that when the USSR collapsed and people who had a firm boot on their neck were free to share their "ideas" so a whole bunch of methed up retards started writing alt history to try and give their plot of ex-soviet land a bit of cool history.
