   1: Idea seeded through pornography to soften up innate resistance and disgust response

   2: Many children grow up with maybe a single sibling, 2 at most. Good chance they have no opposite sex sibling to learn from, allowing the fantasy to exist.

   3: Difficult dating landscape devoid of deep seated intimacy and longstanding love makes them daydream about someone loving them truly & permanently.

     @Arkana @Osmium @AmericanChampion I get it more than you, I’d bet only a fraction of them are even slightly doing it genuinely. They’re entertainers, doing their job to be likable and similar to their audience so they keep tossing them shekels.

     This is like believing a hooker when she says “no really you’re the only client that makes me climax”. Don’t project the male difficulty at lying, acting, and espionage onto women. They’re far better at faking it than we are.

     @AmericanChampion @Arkana @Osmium It’s just garden variety acting/espionage in all likelihood. A kernel of truth, wrapped up and built into a more hyperbolic, engaging, extreme version of itself.

     They’ve always done it on radio, talk shows, and late night TV andnobody noticed back then. Aspects of their character are rooted in themselves, that’s what lets them pull off the persona for so long with consistency, but it’s still a very distinct version of themselves that’s different from their true, day to day self.

     Anytime you like what you’re hearing from one of these girls being paid for their time, you need to remember you’re willingly suspending disbelief. They can’t really be used as representative of reality any more than saying “well girls love anal sex, just look at all these girls on onlyfans blowing out their O-rings for fun!!!!”

It's a very competitive field, and "get paid thousands of dollars by countless admirers to chat about yourself without ever having to connect this persona to your real life" is pretty close to the ideal female job. They aren't their personas by any means, but a woman who really is an autistic weeb has much better odds than one who isn't of being one of the double digit number of women who turn it into a viable profession.

     Where Japan differs generally is that cousin marriage is legal and acceptable, though rare and is increasingly considered to be weird, if that makes sense.
