Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks (washedoutgundampilot@poa.st)'s status on Monday, 16-Jan-2023 07:35:44 JST Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks @YeetLibs I don’t really get why guys freak about their chickens. I get that I have a bunch of dumb, complacent, tasty birds waddling around on this side of the fence. I don’t blame stuff for coming and eating them. If I didn’t want coyotes tearing them apart, I’d make them an enclosed roost to keep them safe.
As it stands, I just let them grow how they want, seems like nature thins them out when they have too many anyways

But in that case you'd have them better protected. -

I have a guy down the lane who always complains that his calves are getting attacked by them, but he still won’t put up a better fence and bring them in at night.
If you care then you put the work in, otherwise you’re just retarded. At the rate chickens breed, I don’t know why it matters. Last time she mentioned it the gf hatched like 30+ in a month

IDK why, my girl got some funky original-chicken breed and the thinks are wild as hell. As soon as the sun crests behind the hill those bastards will fly straight up like 30 feet.
I don’t really like putting down anything too cute, if I can help it, even coyotes get a pass from me.

Rehn (rehnsturm256@shota.house)'s status on Monday, 16-Jan-2023 08:52:38 JST Rehn @WashedOutGundamPilot @YeetLibs at least he didn’t harm the cat :blobcatlaugh2: i mean, he’d have every right and it’s his survival etc etc, but I’d hate knowing a wild animal got plinked in retaliation for just doing animal stuff (I’m a bleeding heart). IE, a farmer guy on here nailed an opossum when it went after his chicken and I was sad because I like opossums :possum: simple as, lol.
A well protected henhouse would keep the birds AND potential hungry culprits alive. Prevention is key and all that :02nod:
