     Happened again, but didn't last even three minutes this time. The third UPS has both the PC and server plugged into it, and that might be too much for it as it shuts down instantly. Fourth is ordered and will be on the way.

     It's a pretty crappy one in terms of capacity, but hey, I was low on money. Should hold two minutes at full 300W load, just a bit more than the server's 240W. Could probably squeeze up to eight by dropping the clock frequencies to absolute minimum supported.

     @mint when I hit my fifth UPS I built my own for #6. At some point it makes sense to migrate off lead acid consumer gear, not only for capacity but so you don't have a billion of those units floating around.
     
     Most UPSes have 7 or 14Ah of capacity. This sucker has 600.
