   I don't think the person asking that question realizes that's $1,000 per plot maybe twice per year. Probably better off growing boutique plants or getting a real job

     This is one of those things where if someone came by the land and equipment for cheap (lol) it's actually a really good deal: go out and plant in the spring, maybe spray some sumtin-sumtin in the summer and then harvest in the fall and do fuck-all the rest of the year.

     Fren just told me a cold snap probably wiped out 100k from his neighbor’s planting.

     Other guy had $10,000 of seed shit out this year, not sure what happened but I definitely know his marriage didn’t take that surprise monetary loss without stress.

     People act like farming is super ritzy because you spend a lot on keeping it running….nobody realizes even when things work out perfect you about as much as the guy who owns a wendy’s franchise
