     Sure, after subsidies(on supply and demand side). Take those away and it struggles to pay for itself over a practical service life.

     yeah, it's because we just keep turning off the coal plants
     
     The the turbines in the eye-fucking-sore of a windmill farm not far from me seem to hardly ever be turning, even in moderate winds.
     
     And of course it's placed on a longitudinal line that has a high volume of bird migration routes.
     
     And they'll all be in a landfill in 15 more years
     
     But yeah, renewable energy
