     WaitingRoomGF has a justified belief that "girl math is sound". WaitingRoomGF therefore (justifiably) concludes that "buying tickets for a March concert in September makes them basically free", even though WaitingRoomGF has no information whatsoever about monetary policy or market forces. In fact, girl math is fallacious, but by sheer force of Effective Federal Funds Rate, buying tickets for a March concert in September makes them basically free. Again, WaitingRoomGF had a belief that was true and justified, but not knowledge.

     See she’s not wrong. For women like this, money doesn’t ever accumulate, it falls through their hands like sand. That money is basically free by march because it would have been spent on extra food for a fancy night out or a set of cheap tickets to go see the beach for a new profile pic

     Doesn’t make sense to us, because dudes operate on a much bigger timescale

     For years women accounted for 80 percent of all spending in the USA. I suspect it’s much more today.

     All of this is a very useful window to immerse yourself in the female mind. Boys rankle at these but you should learn her techniques so you can pull it out in the future.
