     I usually close PRs if people don't add tests/specs .. but in this case I see Alex's point. It's not a security bug. There's no reason to patch an interoperability issue with an instance that's intentionally adding junk with the intention of it not being displayed.

     Yeah but this bug is so mild. It’s in the “all fun and games” level. It’s easy to fix, causes no permanent damage, and really, isn’t any kind of massive own unless you do shit like refusing to let other people patch it to fix it. It’s the equivalent of someone throwing a pie in your face on YouTube.
