@Godcast @BigTLarrity To be fair, the cowboy aesthetic was highly respected before gays raped it when jews began letting them out of the closet in the 50s and 60s. There are still people alive today who knew a time when a man wearing a cowboy outfit with a red ribbon around his neck would look rugged and cool. I like to think he's reclaiming the aesthetic for White men.

@boburtle @BigTLarrity When it comes to fashion, trying to "reclaim" something is like trying to insist that thing isn't covered in AIDS and fecal matter.

@Godcast @boburtle @BigTLarrity "All that's left is t shirts"

@BigTLarrity He looks more and more like an extra from the Ram Ranch music video every day. I like the guy, but "The cowboy from The Village People" isn't a good look in any circumstance.

@Godcast @boburtle @BigTLarrity I'm sorry that you have been mogged by society's norms
There is cowboy attire that is not gay, because gay is the aberration, and we're going to remove it
-
@idea_enjoyer @boburtle @BigTLarrity Cowboy attire is very niche. Something like business casual is impossible to co-opt because of it's ubiquity. You can definitely put a gay spin on business casual, but then it's clear what you're putting out there. Sadly, cowboy attire is gay.

@idea_enjoyer @boburtle @BigTLarrity We live in a society. If you walk out into society wearing assless chaps, society is going to come to certain conclusions about what you like getting inserted where.
-
@Godcast @idea_enjoyer @boburtle @BigTLarrity It's on you if you see a ten gallon hat and you're reminded of gay sex my friend
-
@Subject24 @idea_enjoyer @boburtle @BigTLarrity "it's on you of you see a well-known homosexual tell and think the person wearing it is homosexual."
-
@Godcast @Subject24 @idea_enjoyer @boburtle @BigTLarrity the one downside to overalls is they make you look fatter than you are more often than not.
