そういえば、友達と会話したら、シェイクスピアでさえ現代英語をちゃんと使ってないから別にいいと返答されたわw
いや、そういう問題かよw
まぁ、でも向こうの人間はそこまで気にしてないのかもなぁ...
アメリカって文字が書けない人が、たしか20%近くいるらしいし...英語にはAin'tとかの表現もあるしなぁ....本当に事細かに文章とか気にするのは、大学とか研究員、レベルが要求されるとこだけなんだろうなぁ....

英語の歴史を十分に遡れば、ほとんどの人にとって認識不能となり、英語を母国語とする人にとっては第二言語のように感じられる。

@noah There's been literacy issues in America for as long as I can remember. I even remember those Hooked on Phonics commercials when I was a kid; I should've suspected that there was something "prophetic" about them....because, now, kids aren't being taught how to write in cursive, and it seems like things have gotten worse in our school system.
Higher education isn't all that better, either, I'm afraid.

Well, you could say that about modern times; things are getting dumbed down so as to be more inclusive. But, I don't think that was necessarily the case back when I was younger.
Nevermind the fact that dumbing things down is racist in its own way. If they could just come out and say "Black people are too stupid to learn these things, so we're making things easier for them," they would at least be honest. And, if they're on the Right Side of History, it'll be swept under the rug.
