   Really want these to be functional but I doubt they work on anything more than energy transference shocking the crap out of whatever they hit. Fun idea, cute marketing, nice home grown biz, but come on……

   Shooting at motors and joints with powdered magnets hoping it gums them up? With a 9mm? At $2 a round? Just have someone sling some 00 buck at it

     The centerfire stuff isn’t even their forte, from the looks of it, which is why I’m pretty sure this WILL have limited adoption in the moneyed departments willing to splurge on fun trinkets. They have .68 cal ammo, which seems to offer the most utility for them.

     Also note the “offensive projectile”, which is a really fun concept when you think about it. Imagine a jurisdiction that can’t rock a lethal arm who WANTS to be able to kill with it, so they look for an armor piercing, lethal munition for their “nonlethal” paintball gun

     Reminds me of the article I read some time around 2006 or so when city PDs were getting all that patriot act money to buy all kinds of stupid shit, and some small town police department bought a bunch of solid silver bullets "just in case".

     the air force has munitions designed to screw with electronics and it's all about throwing long, thin strands of mylar all over the place to cause shorts against high voltage equipment

If they're hardened for more than urban pacification, like a full-on combat robot? Probably not unless it's enough to also fry a human nervous system.

     @everyday_civilian I want more eyes on it. I know everyone will say it’s fudd shit but I see promise. This is like… the first iphone, where it didn’t have apps and had to have cheesy websites to have basic functionality. The industry evolves over time, and the idea of an injected payload delivery is interesting. If nothing else, they’re a fun thing to buy to have on the shelf and show to friends.

     But stuff like their camera rounds have promise for the future, additional refinement could make them a nifty tool

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Worth noting that both cops and Antifa used paintball guns in 2020. Cops used pepper rounds that weren't super effective, but they could drive back unprepared protestors. Antifa didn't seem to have much luck vs cameras, but it forced the feds to use higher altitude drones.
