@SuperSnekFriend @idea_enjoyer @caekislove Dude he'll try to thread the needle like that but then in Intitutes (p.302) start telling people that the dietary laws are stll binding on us. Like, his interpretation of Colossians 2:16-17 is done in such a way as to argue with the meaning of the text. Because the man wanted to eat kosher and keep the jewish sabbath. How is that not judaizing?
Like, here's from his commentary on Galatians, where he takes everything that St. Paul said and goes "Welp, so the judaizers were wrong to tell Gentiles to live according to the Law of Moses. Here's why that means we have to live according to the Law of Moses."
