   the issues we had was friendica randomly mentioning users in posts, so you'd get unintended notifications

     @methyltheobromine Friendica has stable AP support since about 4 years. I don't remember it being shaky even in the first couple of months, it worked pretty well out of the gate.

     The only issue was that it took Friendica about a year to get AP, but it took Mastodon and Pleroma about half a year to discontinue OStatus, so there was a bit of a gap.
