Activist judges are the norm on the Left. It's not a great thing, but to be fair, from their perspective, anything other than Leftism is a different kind of activism, call it "reality activism."
@amerika@obihahn it can be said in simpler terms that have become more evident as you'll begin to see shit like boomercons angry the wrong people are posting drag queen story hour: The left plays to win. The right plays to sell more books about the darn culture war that miss the point.
It's also they're predominantly boomers or grifters in the classic sense. If someone like Baked Alaska wound up with a different crowd, he'd be like Hasan complete with his views.
I have no idea if you have ever watched the Porsalin video on Baked but it's essentially a look into the mindset of a typical online grifter/eceleb, particularly the RW one. A bunch of stuff has happened since then including the J6 stream and trial, the implosion/drama sphere around America First, how he's certainly a fed informant, etc. But the running theme is, Baked is someone who will do anything for attention and fame. They don't have a desire to cling to what the system let them have like boomers, but rather a desire to be e-famous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mo8cE75hGbU
I agree. The Right does not believe it can win; after all, democracy and equality are Leftist tropes, and they are massive popular.
Consequently it focuses on careerism and outrage, since those keep the system going, in the theory that it is better to live to fight another day than to achieve anything now at the cost of risking it all.
It's also why you'll see these grifter types defend people they shouldn't be.
The grifter types are who the dissident right and associated groups would brand as "optics cucks", in the sense that literally everything they did was "how will I be seen by a media machine that will lie about me even if I grovel and cry on TV". So you'll see hilarious moments like Matt Walsh saying the Nazis pushed transgenderism even though the Nazis were burning books in a Jewish run institute for it.
Not even shock porn, Tucker's formula is that he goes as close to reposting vdare/unz/Jared Taylor and some of the tamer parts of Infowars without being too hot for TV.
His new Twitter show is also something that Fox never could pull off to fill a timeslot; it's nothing but the speeches. He would talk about shit none of the other guys on the network will talk about.
