It’s like carrying water in a full bucket, all it took was one slosh, one misstep, and the waves started reverberating from edge to edge, exacerbating the effect until the water was sloshing out of the bucket entirely.
In an alternate world, we could well have 1/10th of the numbers we do here today, because guys would have stayed contented, sleepy libertarians numbed with weed and video games, ignoring the bland mumble of politics free of insane feminist overreach.

It started off with finding out slut fucking for good reviews, led to finding out that entire gaming journolism industry was corrupt as shit, and eventually the fact that the govt was involved.

And from us doing just a tiny, fractional amount of pushback, they decided to come down on us like a nuclear missile aimed at a cat sitting on a barren rock with a copy of Epstein’s black book. That was what woke up a whole generation of sleepy libertarians all going “What the fuck? Every single one of these people are moving in lockstep.”
Of course, just a few years later, we are capable of looking back and going, “Every single fucking one of them were either Jewish or fags. I don’t know how I missed that in 2014.” And today, we’re able to look at every single one of them and going, “That gay mexican that got Youtube to nuke millions of good videos? He’s the gay son of a couple Jewish Billionaires who do everything they can to keep off the internet.” We’re able to go, “That dumb cunt who posted the address of a couple of our guys? Her uncle runs the waybackmachine. That’s why nobody knows she’s a billionaire kike either.”

It definitely burnt through nerd communities like lighting a match next to petrol and for a good reason; it woke everyone up. Some bit the propaganda being pushed on Kotaku and Daily Dot, many rejected it. It didn't help that with the SOPA campaigns the framework was there.
Now you can't go into nerd communities without them being political in some form, and you can no longer play neutral. It made a generation of apolitical autists who just wanted to have sex with Sonic the Hedgehog characters into raging autists online.

I still think that "gamers are dead" is such a black swan event, it could not have been designed to escalate the tensions more, if it was made in a lab.19 articles, all saying the single line that should have never been said in these publications, over half of them in a single day.
