   my wife isn't always a great conversationalist but i love everything else about her so it works great. you really only think you want a woman who's a good conversationalist but as a guy that has had many MANY long conversations with women i'll say having that in a romantic partner is super overrated. what you actually want is someone you click with on a personality level and who shares your cultural/religious/social views.

     @flux @Monsignor_DickFace @Humpleupagus @TheEternalBungholio It’s division of labor. Mine is basically a radar station to pick up all the community, neighborhood, and family gossip with a smattering of social happenings & culture. She covers the grudges, rivalries, and missteps of people we know while helping me navigate the social landscape.

     Plus I really love it when she gets wound up about her inscrutable chick hobbies and starts getting all fem-autismo about girl things.

     yeah the fem-autismo thing is really fun sometimes. i've always called it her being "kinda retarded but in that endearing girl way."

     @flux @Humpleupagus @Monsignor_DickFace @TheEternalBungholio I find myself actually wanting to tear it up at work so I can afford to let her collect those silly vintage handbags she loves so much. It’s just cute when she’s getting deep into researching, studying them, excitedly telling me about some thrift shop find identified because “they only did this stitching in the 70’s!!!!”

     Luckily she rolled off when she started having more fun raising critters at home. At least that kinda brings in some money here and there.

     Mine cleans the dishes, and I stick them in the dishwasher. She picks up the floor and I vacuum. It's that kinda relationship, except for the yard. She does 100% of the yard work. I'm not allowed to touch it. Fucking wet back. 😏
