     @Wisconsin_Kraut I hate them in 99% of cases, people just aren’t the same forever. Maybe if you’ve gone through a harsh experience and come out the other end fully tempered then you know you’ll love it forever, but so many are just a flash in the pan that you end up looking at 50 years later with an eyeroll.

     even the dead kid ones, ugh. I got family with those “my baby died so here’s a portrait in your face all the time” ones and it’s insufferable. I get the vibe he likes wallowing in it, like he WANTS people to grab his shoulder and commiserate so he can get attention. Weird guy.

     I would need my tat to be utterly, 100% internally-composed. How can you come up with something that doesn’t reference some ideology, some power that’s outside of your control? How can you make something that’s fullly novel and unseen outside your design? That’s the only way you don’t end up with something messed up by other people later on - you never know when some fad takes hold and you’re stuck saying “yeah but I got this before everyone started getting into it, they really ruined it for me”

     Not a big fan of emblazoning the Savior’s name on my sinful flesh, either. I wouldn’t want someone putting MY name on their body, because it reflects on me and damages my concept in the eyes of others. But sure, britney, I’m sure h’ll be cool with that. You’re just mutilating your body with the most powerful existence in creation….no biggie

     There are two acceptable reasons to get tattoos. One is due to valor. The other is due to loyalty to a person or to a faith.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Worked with a zoomer kid a couple years back on my last job, first thing she did the second she turned 18 was get a full set of sleeve tattoos. Came from out of nowhere too, everyone was confused as fuck as to why. Worst part is they weren't even special, they were just some off the wall shit the tattooist had in the parlor.

     @SettlerLife @WashedOutGundamPilot I've had a reoccurrent experience with zoomies asking me about my tattoos, hyping up how much they want them when they're old enough/have enough money, then getting pissy when I ask what they want and advise them that it would be retarded/tell them that tattoos for non-religious/cultural traditions are just permanent red-flags and that they shouldn't.
     
     They've spent their whole lives being propagandized that they're so cool, but looking cool is not what they're for. No person covers themselves with tattoos for consumeristic reasons that isn't already fatally ill.

     Had an ex who had never pierced her ears because she was scared of the needle so badly…. I came to really love it when I considered the fact that I had an all original, factory-fresh, unadulterated lady. I thought it was funny that I would obsess over the part numbers, the VINs of collectible cars, guns, etc. and came to think it was very cool to have a completely natural, as-designed girl to love.

     She was nice. Got married and popped out like, 3 kids last I heard
