     @WashedOutGundamPilot @NailBomb @BigDuck What I really don’t understand is this conception that sleeping around is something you don’t want to miss out on. Do they not realize that one can have sex with the same person multiple times, even for life? Maybe it’s my celibacy talking, but I can’t imagine that there’s that much variety to be had, especially when considering such a lonely future staring at them should they choose that path.

     Kids eat a sardine can's worth of food per day for the first half-decade of their lives.
     Their clothes are tiny and cheaply made.
     For entertainment, they can literally just sit down with crumpled paper like a cat.

     Yeah I know someone older who had the wife, had the house, but said he needed a MILLION in savings before he would have his first child. He ended up having a couple kids when he could have easily had seven.

     @veff @WashedOutGundamPilot @NailBomb @BigDuck Spinsters were as unable to have long-lasting relationships of any kind in their youth as they are now in their midlife publicly for everyone to see, if they were to settle they of course would find themeselves "suffocated" and they would have to stop chasing their own idealized and irrealistic conceptions of status. The reason why they pretend that sleeping around is actually good is because they lack the self-awareness to understand that not all women are like them and also as a way to exorcise their deeply felt regret and emptiness, an attitude perfectly consistent with narcissistic behavioural patterns.
