     @Punished_Potatus @fatepony It’s far from optimal, but hey, I inherited this can from the boomers. My fiancee got poached from me by an older dude, and amazingly there aren’t all that many guys at 23 looking to firmly settle down (and not live like a bachelor).

     When things are fixed it definitely shouldn’t be happening, but as a societal field repair…..eh, it’s a C+. Not encouraged, largely bad, but it will get the plane home.

     @fatepony we haven't yet seen the peak of detachment from reality combined with mass infantilisation. I guarantee you this position will slowly become more zoomers given that it's a generation whose bell curve has more people on either extremity. You'll have nutcases simultaneously viewing consexual sex with 25+ year olds as pædophilia while believing a child can consent to sexual reassignment surgery.

     @Punished_Potatus @fatepony I did too, but I was one of the rare ones. Most of my ctcs went for a guy about 2-3 years older, that seems to be the sweet spot. He gets enough experience to lead that way, gets an upward career trajectory.

     The majority of guys in their 20’s talk a big game about being married but they don’t REALLY wanna live the life. They want a live-in gf to come share the bachelor life with them. It’s the majority even now as we all get to 30.

     Even if they have kids they STILL act like they’re 17 and their wife is crazy to expect him to spend his weekends parenting, doing chores, or going to family functions instead of playing video games in the basement for 36 hours.

     Nobody talks about it but it’s pretty much the top issue causing marital corrosion from what I can see
