  @MeBigbrain @sickburnbro I can’t hold out much hope that warhammer remains unpozzed, every other thing the pop culture hordes touched was ruined already. The existing fan base is putting up a fight, but so did the star wars one.
  Just like how ukrainian paramilitary guys morphed from badass guerilla psychotically violent NatSoc warriors to gay-pride multiculti dervishes, warhammer could well morph into something that shares little of the soul with its original form. They’ll just drown the original fans with faggots and cringe until the old guard gets so grossed out by swimming in the pool with them that they get out and go home.
  The lore should grant some protection, but they hold little interest in maintaining the EU of all these other franchises. They could easily make it so the Tau liberalist philosophy “rescues peoplekind from Fascism and genocide”

  Ah right, yeah, it's getting a lot of attention now because it's the one thing White men have left. Unfortunately it's following the same trajectory as everything else.
  
  - Original warhammer was sort of a punk satire of fascist sci-fi like star ship troopers. The good guys were cunts, the bad guys weren't really any better. Judge Dredd type thing.
  
  - Then it hit the 90s and started taking itself seriously, because it had accidentally become based. The guys who wrote the original satire retired, quit or were fired for various reasons and they were replaced by people who genuinely loved the setting without the irony.
  
  - Early 2000s it started to get soy. The setting has literal gods and demons but for some reason when they were writing the backstory (which it 100% did not need) they made the emperor a fedorific atheist who hates religions with a burning passion. They also decided to make a "positive" faction who were essentially communists in gundam suits. Oh and made humanity diverse whereas before it was almost entirely White.
  
  - Nowadays it's roughly standing still. Old school fans are stuck in the 90s period where it was based. A few very loud soys are calling for it to be more cucked, or at least denounce the based portions of the game. GW is mostly happy to do so although they're not suicidal enough to kill the golden goose and go full retard. So we still get the sisters of battle as religious zealots, but instead of sexy nuns in boobplate they look like butch dykes in sensible but boring armour. They also ban anyone upsetting antifa from their tournaments/shops and explicitly signal anti-racism.

It has some interesting stuff, and in a vacuum it could be perfectly enjoyable, but I HATE warhammer in a kind of time-displaced weariness. I have the sense that by 2040 it will be just as gay and NPC-adored as Marvel or Star Wars is today, I’m just ahead of the curve. 40K went from being a dusty 3x4’ section of every hobby shop, largely ignored as old, uncool, boomer crap to being this fake fandom everyone pretends was bigger than star wars all along.
  It’s bandwagoning, because Warhammer is like a refugee camp for nerds cast out of every other fandom.
  All the other western franchises have been laid low by globohomo, their fields shredded by locusts and turned fallow by sociological dust storms. These fandom migrants have followed the trails to the locusts’ next target, flowing into the Warhammer scene while pretending they’re not refugees, but rightful citizens all along! In time they too will see their hobby ruined and turned against them, rendered gay and embarrassing as they move on to the next “uh actually I’ve been into gundam forever! I was always a fan of Macross!!!”

First place went to a female space marine, no doubt to soften resistance, while third place went to a "woman" whose 5 o'clock shadow shines through the caked on makeup.
  
  If a liberal mind can believe that men can get pregnant it will no doubt be able to believe that warhammer is and has always been lbtqwtfbbq+ friendly.

I can tell because it went from fringe, kinda silly old boomer franchise to front-page on every M18-35 site in the same time frame people got sick of marvel movies. They’ll get their movies, they’ll get off to a good start to sucker in the old guard and earn their approbation, THEN the 2nd wave of media will cuck HARD.
  They’ll have just enough pozz that the old fans can overlook it in favor of the bigger picture, so later on when it’s an all-black-lesbian space marine platoon they’ll say “OH but u didn’t have a problem with {black character} in Warhammer 1 when that came out! See? Ur jus’ racist!!!”
  IT has a better shot at staying true to itself than most other franchises, I just think that people underestimate how important nerd franchises are to act as a sink for teambuilding, aggression, finances, and attention for young single white men. Yeah, they look like small little pucks of unimportant zinc, but these things keep the ship from rusting gigantic holes in the hull

  The guy from parks & rec is an example. He was supposed to be "weird" but people loved him.

You can tell the writers were trying to make him more of a target for mockery than an empathetic figure, even after he became a fan-favorite, but he's consistently a tactless sperg who is right more often than not. Like, I think the expectation of revealing he comes from beet farmers was that viewers were supposed to think he's a backwards country bumpkin and laugh at that.
