     Mastodon instances can struggle with even a handful of people as well btw.

     @Sujiyan @Sujiyan Misskey is written entirely in node. Mastodon is written mostly in Ruby on rails with a few parts (like live notifications) written in node because there Ruby on rails wasn't performant enough.
     
     Also, mastodon will transcode all incoming webms into h.264/aac MP4s so be ready for near endless transcoding jobs.
